Loved it, stopped working, replaced it with the same model

I'm giving this dryer 5 stars for all the same great reasons that others listed. Drys hot and fast, smooths the hair when I use a round brush, dry in sections, etc. It's light and not as loud as you'd think it would be. My only concern is that I am on my second one in less than week. I bought one last week, used it three times and it stopped heating up during the 3rd use. ??? I immediately ordered a replacement to overnight and will return the original. I hope this doesn't happen again. If something happens and your return window closes, it can be returned to the manufacturer. Finally, I noted that on both dryers, when you change heat settings while drying there is a small visible spark inside the handle. I don't know if that should concern me, I plan to email the manufacturer to ask. Overall, best dyer I've ever owned...especially after returning a very expensive CHI that did not work better than a $30 drugstore hairdryer. Happy Hair drying!

When I would stay at my parents house I would use my mom's hair dyer. I always felt like I went to a salon after drying my hair. I didn't know if it was her expensive hair products or her hair dryer. I did a little test and it was definitely the hair dryer. I decided to purchase this Elchim. It was completely worth the money. Not only does it dry my hair faster, my hair is smooth and I barely need a flat iron for my VERY curly hair. It looks like I just went to the salon after I dry my hair. I don't know why I didn't invest in a proper hair dyer before. I bring it with me on all my trips because other hair dryers just don't do anymore! I even converted a few friends to ditch their $20 Conair dryers.

I have come to know Elchim dryers looking around in Saloons while getting my hair done! I used one for one year and it was nothing but perfection but I moved to another country and needed one with different voltage so I bought this one and I who thought it cannot get better was surprised to notice this delivered same quality and at the same time it was much LIGHTER in weight!! My hair is curly and humidity has always tortured me! But not anymore! Whenever I use Elchim, my hair looks as if I just left the Saloon. It gives professional results and you'll forget about frizz.
