Great hair dryer
By Savannah300
I bought this hair dryer years ago for a trip to Europe because it's very compact and lightweight and also it has a duel voltage switch, so you don't need a converter plug in order to use internationally. I ended up using it all the time. It held up better than any other hair dryer I've had and I loved it because it is so compact and easy to hold, much more so than the bigger ones. It also has a surprising powerful blower. I used it every day for four years before it had to be replaced. I don't think any of my other hair dryers lasted this long. Good product for both travel and everyday use.

Works well, as long as you get the ambiguous voltage selector set correctly.
By Gordon M. Verber
Pro: Lightweight, Compact, Dual VoltageCon: Voltage selector switch ambiguousWe have used this on 3 trips to Europe. It has worked well.It is dual-voltage (240/120) and so can be used with a simple adapter plug to change the US blade prongs into the European two-prong (or UK 3 blade) type plugs. No transformer needed. The voltage selector switch however is needlessly ambiguous. It is a simple slotted-screw switch, with no indication of which end of the slot is meant to be the pointer to the desired voltage. I believe that the lower end of the slot points to the selected voltage. A spot of paint, or an embossed arrow would have made this unequivocal. We long ago lost the instructions, and, it having been almost two years since we used this, we really were not sure which way was which. A bit of time on the internet turned up an instruction sheet, and it does seem to show that the slot-pointer works as mentioned above - though I am not positive about this. It really would not have been difficult to have made it clear.By the end of the week we will know the answer to what should not have been a question at all. Thus, -1 star for poor human-factors engineering.
