Lasted less than a month

We purchased this lamp to keep our hedgehog warm, and it lasted less than a month. After a few days of procrastination, we just went to look for the receipt, and low and behold! We are ONE DAY beyond the return window.If a $40 heat lamp were to last even six months, I'd consider it reasonable (though far from a good value). This thing is junk, and apparently *known* to be junk, as evidenced by the return policy of one month.Too bad. If it worked for a conscionable length of time, it would be a good solution for a lot of pet owners. But try to find something else. This thing is a waste of money.

Don't bother with these Chinese/Asian Mfg heat lamps. I have purchased a total of four $25.00 to $30.00 ea. including this brand. One lasted around six months and three not that long. The main problem was separation of the ceramic from metal screw-in end. One just quit (on a cold night) One did not work at the time of arrival. Caveat Emptor!
