Had high hopes on using this dryer for my daughter to use for her hair on the way to school for those late morning. Plugged it in, she was trying to dry her hair, the heat was barely warm and the strength of the flow barely moved her hair. Then I could hear the power "winding down" like she had decreased the power switch although she didn't. Then, it stopped working and shut itself off within 3 minutes, started to smoke, and melted it's own coils.
