I learned that using a higher-watt dryer makes my hair look like I dried it while riding on the back of a Harley! So, I was searching for a low-watt hair dryer and found this one. I read a few reviews from other places and believe this product is probably the best one out there for me. It does a really nice job on my hair and the product is built to last forever. I have short hair and use the little attachment to style my hair into place.The Solano company has done a good thing for its consumers: they didn't fix something that wasn't broken! They have other styles of dryers out there, but they still produce one of their winning products - and they haven't changed it at all. Kudos to Solano!

High speed is not working. Plug gives electric shocks.

It arrived in new condition. Everything was OK at first inspection. I came back to my country and gave it to my wife as a gift. She plugged it in, selected high speed drying ... and nothing. She unplugged it, and by chance one of the plug rods (sorry not that good english, but you may get the idea) touched her, and she received an electrical shock and her skin got burned.

I'm pretty particular when it comes to my hair... This thing is a beast (a quiet one). It's substantial, a bit heavy, as others may have mentioned... But I don't mind that, If it treats my hair well? Thats most important. It's not some plastic crappy dryer.

Powerful motor, but heavy

I am still on the line if I like this product or not. It is quite heavy, and I would not recommend it for someone who may forsee blow drying longer than 5-10 min..I am in shape and even for me it is heavy. The motor is powerful, does not get super hot on the low dial, but when you turn it up a notch to increase the heat it is way to powerful for me and almost seems like it would burn my hair. My hair does dry fairly quickly (under 10 mins) and it does seem to give smoother results. Overall I would probably have purchased something with a higher amp,and lighter in weight.

Love this dryer

Received the dryer and used it immediately. Its wonderful and dries my hair quickly, my old one took more than 30 minutes to dry my long hair. I like the fact that it has two settings, a separate button for the Ionizing function, and the unit is lightweight. Wish I had purchased it much sooner, a great product.

WILL BREAK ON CONTACT

I bought this dryer less than a month ago. I usedit once for 5 minutes for a hair treatment, the second and last time i used it the dryer had been on for 10 minutes.i turned it off to go to the restroom, and when i returned it wouldn't turn back on. I'm sure this would be an outstanding product if it didn't break so easily.

I Really Like It But It Gets Really Really Hot

This dryer works really well. However, as a mom of 2 small children I do not have the time that it takes to dry my hair on the low setting so I use the high setting. It is so hot that it becomes a fight everytime to see how long I can tolerate the heat. So watch ya necks and ears ladies....they may get burned.
